Laodicea could be called 'The Church Of Self-Deceit And Self-Conceit'. Instead of trusting Christ for salvation and whatever else they needed, they trusted in themselves. In this amazing letter, Jesus displays His great love for them by telling them the truth so they could make corrections and experience all He has for them. This letter is also significant in that it is the last message Jesus has for His Church and may have direct implications to the times we are currently living in!
