D’Arcy Harrison became a transplant from Rhode Island 19 years ago and has a background in theatre, producing, marketing, and non-profit program administration. D’Arcy became a licensed cosmetologist in 2003 once attending Greenwood Academy of Hair and received training via It&Ly Hairfashion, Vidal Sassoon and SEVEN the salon. D’Arcy has been the sole proprietor since 2012 of D’Arcy Hair Design (“Creating Hair Happiness”) and owner of Emerson Salon.  She values speaking truth to power and believes in ethical business practices within the cosmetology industry.
