Most of us have been conditioned our entire lives to mask our emotions. Some of us have even been conditioned to believe that our feelings don't matter. We start to shame them and lock them down deep inside ourselves because we are afraid to express them and to feel them. We even go as far as to project them onto other people and blame them for how we feel when ultimately, we don't even know how we feel because we don't allow ourselves to feel what is surfacing.
