This past Friday we had an amazing time starting the day with Arise! It was beautiful and peaceful and life giving. My dear friend Kelsey and I had a conversation right after the event and I know that it captured some of the joy that we had experienced together. I also reflected on how I felt going into the event that was unlike any experience I had before in terms of planning and hosting (two things I've never been able to enjoy in the past). I hope this conversation brings you joy as you sit in on the conversation, AND courage if you've been thinking about starting/trying/experimenting with hosting an event yourself. Remember, it's not really about you. It's about who you can serve.
