Have you ever noticed how children act differently when their parents are in the room? Imagine what would happen if the Creator of the Universe was sitting next to us. That's the Christmas story. Jesus was given the name Immanuel, "God With Us." God stepped down from the splendor of Heaven and came to Earth so that we could have a personal relationship with Him, but we tend to forget that. We tend to become complacent with our devotion, with our worship, and with our relationships. Our complacency comes to the point we no longer remember that God is with us. We separate ourselves from our Father. Imagine the change that would take place if Jesus was next to us when we worship, next to us in our alone time, next to us in the hard times. BUT THAT IS THE SECRET (and it's not even a secret...). GOD IS WITH US. This week, Chris and Pastor Andrew dive into some of the changes that could and should take place in our everyday walk with Christ when we realize God is with us.
