The Benefits of a 10 Year Plan. The past couple years have embodied the saying expect the unexpected. We don’t now what to expect when we check twitter or the news apps on our phones to the point that we just expect everything. I had to step away from social media for a good while for the sake of my mental health which was slowly deteriorating because of the lack of boundaries between being a student, a professional, and a creative. And not knowing what to expect can be uncomfortable. It can increase stress, anxiety, and discomfort in our lives. So, although we expect the unexpected, having a plan in place to refer to as a guide can make sure we are on track. Like a 10 year plan can be a guide to measure progress. Some stability can be beneficial when it comes to the chaos of the unexpected.
