It's a new year and new format for Your Friendly Neighborhood Comics Podcast. This month I spoke with the venerable Greg Thompson of Local Heroes Comics (in my opinion, the best comic shop within the Seven Cities) about one of his favorite comics, 100 Bullets, as well as the old Vertigo Comics imprint. 100 Bullets is a gritty, neo-noir thrill ride through the criminal underbelly of the modern world. The winner of multiple Eisner and Harvey awards, this comic is a must read for fans Ed Brubaker, The Wire, The Department of Truth, and crime fiction in general.
