Have you ever wondered what It would be like to run your own business? In this episode of ‘A Day In The Life’, we chat to Julie Adams, a Leeds alum with her own business in exporting the UK’s finest craft beer to France.
You’ll discover how Julie went from studying languages at The University of Leeds, to teaching, to eventually delving into the craft beer industry, all whilst travelling the world! Julie shares what she has learned along the way and what she wished she would have known at university.
“There's always a solution. So if you're making a decision as a student leaving university, because you think, no, I can't do that. Oh, I could never do that. I'm not qualified enough to do that. I think give yourself a bit more leeway and, go down the exciting route! You can only learn.” – Julie Adams.
