Throughout the uncertainty of the season, Coach made it a point to create and maintain a mindset that you do not lose in a season, in life, or in a game until you GIVE UP. When you lose at anything it's because you quit trying. That mentality is a recurring theme you can see throughout their season. Each game, every single player fought until the bitter end and gave it everything they had.
