Hydration is key when cycling long distances. Bring at least two water bottles or a hydration pack to keep yourself hydrated throughout the race. Don't forget to bring snacks, such as energy bars or gels, to keep your energy levels up.
Safety is always a top priority. Wear a helmet and reflective clothing to stay visible to other riders and motorists. It's also a good idea to bring a first-aid kit with essentials like band-aids, antiseptic wipes, and pain relievers.
