On January 18, 2015, law enforcement officers responded to a report of an unconscious woman found behind a dumpster near a fraternity house. A woman that for over a year will be known as Emily Doe was saved by the two guardian angels, but not before she was assaulted by a freshman Brock Turner.

After the verdict, she decided she will not go down as his victim, rather as a survivor who will change laws, advocate for victims and in doing so, finally regain her voice.

This is the story of Channel Miller.
