Normally this would be the part where I’ve abandoned the original idea entirely, panicked for a good year or two, then tried something else. However, seeing as I shouldn’t be spending money on yet another domain name right now and I wouldn’t be caught dead using a gmail address like some kind of barnyard animal, unfortunately this shitshow must go on. By the way, people who are still using gmail accounts, if you wanna get a real email address but don’t know how, hit me up and I’d love to give you a hand. You can have it set up in about 15-20 minutes after which it will run forever without ever having to mess with it again, it uses the same gmail interface you’re already used to, and you can still have everything forwarded to your existing gmail account (or vice versa) so you won’t miss any messages. And it’s only about $10-20 a year, and if you’ve read this far, your show is at least investing that much in and you play pinball for fuck’s sake, you can afford it. The company I use personally for this sort of thing is 101domain.com because they have good prices and their interface is very navigable, plus now I’ve been using them for so long that I’ll probably be a lifelong customer as long as they don’t do anything horrible, just because I’m too lazy to research their competitors at this point. Anyway, while I don’t endorse them, I recommend them and am familiar with navigating their website so it’s probably the least fussy option if you’d like my help. Do your own research if that’s your thing though, and if you find somebody you like more I can probably still help get you going because the steps are mostly universal. Then, you’ll have done a cool serious podcaster thing that neither Zach NOR Kaneda have ever managed to accomplish, and you’ll be one step closer to whatever it is you’re trying to accomplish and gorging yourself on whatever hunger drives your need to create. Also if you haven’t guessed, the new format is that I realized just how big the character limit is in this description box, and how much more comfortable I am writing than speaking. If you’re particularly clever, you may have even guessed that I’m going to try keeping the serious stuff here, and spend the audio portion just loving pinball. The part you probably haven’t guessed yet, though, is that the editor box doesn’t allow you to add a new line in order to break up walls of text into paragraphs and that’s driving my inner perfectionist INSANE, so we lucked out big time because that means that even though this is a brand new show, we still get to be Insanity Falls. :) Let’s give it a shot.
