#100 Reassessing Revelations – A Practical Look at The Rapture and the End Times

How does a left-brain person interpret the Biblical prophecies of “The Rapture” and the description of The End Times? What do Islam and Judaism have to say on the subject? What do YOU believe? In this podcast, I review some of the belief systems and their interpretation of the “Day of Judgement” and their concepts on hell and punishment.  Of course, I also provide my own perspective!

Biblical references used in this podcast: Daniel 8:14 (Used by the “Millerite Movement”) and Daniel 9:20-27 (the “Seventy Sevens”), 1 Thessalonians 5:1-17 (End Times).

The GOOD NEWS referred to in this podcast:

  1. There most certainly is an all-encompassing, universal being of Infinite Intelligence and Love
  • We as individual human beings are all part of this Infinite Intelligence. Everything that is, is part of this same Infinite Being: a dog, a leaf, a drop of rain, a human being. We are all connected and part of the same consciousness. There is nothing that is not part of All That Is.
  • It is Love that binds us, unites us, sustains us
  • We are here by choice and we create our own experiences. We are here to experience life, not to suffer. Yes, it is supposed to be both challenging and exhilarating. That’s how we grow. And we designed our own challenges. But there is nothing noble in seeking suffering.
  • There is no Final Judgement or Hell. When we discard this physical body and return to Spirit, we’ll undergo a “review” of sorts. This might be what is referred in ancient writings as a “judgement” or the use of the “Book of Life”, but it is not to condemn us to eternal fiery damnation.  It is to review and improve our soul, and to help us prepare to return to incarnate and experience life again.
