In our very first episode, we dive into the absolute chaos, sweetness, and heartbreak of meeting Amy and Tammy Slaton for the first time — and WOW, there is a lot to unpack.
Tammy has just gotten out of the hospital (again), Amy is cooking enough food to feed a county fair, and before we’ve even caught our breath, they’re ventriloquist-burping, debating bacon inside lasagna, and emptying entire cans of whipped cream into bowls like it’s a sport. But we also get the deeper stuff: their rough childhood, how food became their comfort, Amy’s dream of becoming a mom, and Tammy’s fear that her body is giving out.
We follow the girlies through messy kitchens, emotional car rides, an awkward lunch with Mom (Darlene, we have QUESTIONS), YouTube hate comments, and finally — the junkyard weigh-in that breaks everyone’s hearts.
