• Nearly two-thirds of American voters say that the Democrats in Congress shouldn't force a federal government shutdown if their demands are not met, according to a new national poll.
• Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley questioned former White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention Deputy Director Gregory Jackson Jr. Tuesday at a hearing on the term “two spirit” in his organization’s crime reduction “playbook.”
• Sarah was looking up the definition for "two spirit" and came across a government website. Indian Health Service is a government page for the Federal Health Program for American Indians and Alaska Natives. There is a red notice when you visit the page that says, "Per a court order, HHS is required to restore this website as of 11:59 PM, February 14 2025. Any information on this page promoting gender ideology is extremely inaccurate, and disconnected from the immutable biological reality that there are two sexes, male and female. The Trump Administration rejects gender ideology and condemns the harms it causes to children, by promoting their chemical and surgical mutilation, and to women, by depriving them of their dignity, safety, well-being, and opportunities. This page does not reflect biological reality and therefore the Administration and this Department rejects it."
