Appearing on WSVA's "Early Mornings", Dr. Michael Richards, superintendent of Harrisonburg City Schools and school board member Kristen Loflin talked about several issues involving the school system. Richards talked about the government shut down and the impact of funding in the city schools. CTE, Career and technical education was also discussed along with new accountability standards, that in Richard's opinion, will cause more stress on students as well as teachers.
