First, an ordinary man becomes obsessed with the Doctor and Rose and their mysterious blue box. His investigations lead him to meet other like-minded Doctor “fans” and together they form a hobby group called LINDA, which gains the attention of the enigmatic Victor Kennedy, who is more than what he seems.

Then, the Tardis lands in 2012 where the Doctor plans to show Rose the London Olympics, but on a nearby housing estate, a desperate mother is hiding her daughter’s unearthly powers.
