I want to start this part two episode by saying that what I speak on today may trigger my audience who have experiences with depression, anxiety, or postpartum depression. In this episode I am diving deep into my experience with postpartum depression, and encourage my audience to proceed with care. I step into the room and sit on a blue couch. I rustle things around in Chloe’s diaper bag, and pull Chloe in close so she can start eating. I look up at my therapist who is lovingly observing me, and she asks me one question- How are you doing today Taylor?
I look down at my daughter as tears well up in my eyes and quietly whisper, “I am not okay.”
A few weeks later I was diagnosed with postpartum depression.
