In desperation, Saul resorts to witchcraft and pagan spiritism when God doesn't answer him. But who is this woman? Was she a Hebrew or a Gentile? Was she an Ewok? Samuel is "summoned" (channelled?) by the witch and prophesies death for Saul and his sons in the coming battle. Will Saul heed the warning and submit to Yahweh before it's too late? We shall see...
