The South African Police Service (SAPS) says they're still willing to negotiate with the striking emergency police 10111 operators. This after the operators resumed their strike yesterday after wage talks deadlocked. The SA Police Union (SAPU) said they had sought intervention from government without success. The countrywide strike was temporarily suspended in mid-July. SAPS spokesperson, Brigadier Vish Naidoo says the demands are just too high for management.
