With the Irish football team on the bye, we spent a good chunk of time talking about the Irish basketball programs including a 1-on-1 conversation with men's hoops standout Rex Pflueger. Rex's mom Rebecca lost her battle with brain cancer just one month ago. Rex explains how basketball is helping him get through these difficult times, and how he got a tattoo of his mom's heartbeat on his wrist so that he could kiss it goodnight each night.
