This morning, Niko left for a two-week trip with his mom. This is the longest I’ve ever been away from him, and the first trip he’s taken since his mom and I have separated. I’ve got some mixed feelings (and mixed feelings about having mixed feelings), but acceptance will help me to take advantage of the time I have alone.
