He is a retired blood bank technician from Kailash Hospital in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, who voluntarily collects unused medicines from people and distributes them to the poor free of charge. He witnessed a Delhi Metro under-construction bridge collapse which cost two laborers their lives and injured many others. This is when he realized the acute shortage of medicines and started his journey as medicine baba!
