Mike's Bio:
Mike is a storyteller at heart. He came from a theater background having produced live entertainment all over the world. After finishing a successful off Broadway run of a show he shepherded from Minneapolis to New York's theater district, Mike made the lateral move into digital “storytelling”. Working with several companies, Mike supervised the design and creation of interactive “experiences” for large brands – from AT&T and Verizon, to 3M and MARVEL Comics to name a few.
Mike now brings this level of operational expertise and technology design to rural communities with Corqueboard. Mike is passionate about giving small businesses and rural communities access to the kind of digital “storytelling” and architecture that in the past has been reserved for larger and more urban areas. Mike believes in creating a small business “ecosystem” within these rural communities and creating tangible benefits that build on community engagement and interaction. Only by creating a strong bond across rural divides can we create the “strength in numbers” that is needed to benefit and build rural communities and take some of the power away from the urban centers that view the rural areas of this nation as nothing more than “flyover” country.
