Did you know that this week is Mental Illness Awareness Week?  I know this subject is not talked about very much in the church, but today I want to give voice to it.

I am so excited to have Carla Arges on the podcast this week. She is a mental health advocate, and I love that she honestly and vulnerably shares about her struggle with mental illness this week.  What I also love is she gives such truth and wisdom. She talks about mental health vs mental illness and compares it to physical health and physical illness. It was very eye-opening to me. She also encourages others to focus on their identity in Christ through Affirming Truths. One of my favorite parts of the episode!
