On this episode, Salina Bartunek-Andrews joins us to talk alla bout the mind/bdy connection and shares that she sees it is actually the spirit, wrapped in a body, functioning form a soul and the order in which we should we operate them.
As a note, please excuse the glitchy audio, it gets better and then cuts down a bit later again, then comes back. I am looking at getting a new mic and using a newer laptop too. Well, enough of that.
We learn that when breathing optimally, by using the only breathing muscle we have properly, we move into the parasympathetic/peaceful state, which is the only state in which your body can heal.
If you are frugal, you’ll love that optimal breathing is the cheapest medicine around, because it’s FREE! Next, Salina shares how to recognize signs that maybe you aren’t breathing well and how to practice one method of breathing. You’ll learn how to calm down and come into the present. And more importantly, Not to judge your breathing but to NOTICE. I still struggle with arguing in my head sometimes about “not doing it right or long enough or often enough”.
As mentioned, here is the link to Salina’s free PDF Breath Work Basics. And her other pertinent information too:
