Everyone hates cluster rings but this jewelry has been around for hundreds of years. We talk to antique dealer and jewelry historian Tanzy Ward about the history of the cluster ring, how it came to be in modern times, and why everyone hates it so much. This also led to a conversation about Black history, especially Black Victorian and Americana history which is often erased.
