Anyone who has ever struggled with the pitfalls of life knows what it’s like to wrestle with God. It’s those exhausting times when we deal with people, circumstances and faith — and especially our hearts — that require intense effort that connects deep within our souls.

Thankfully, we’re not alone in these personal battles. And such adversity is nothing new in the human experience. In fact, the Bible is filled with the true stories of men and women who grappled with their Creator. Over the next few weeks, we’ll look at five people in Scripture who did just that, and what their stories mean for us in our own struggles.
