Some know him as Wendell, others know him as Phil, but everyone agrees that Merferd is unmistakable. Wendell Phillips "Phil" Berwick III has taken his creation everywhere from the pages of his middle school notebooks to the cover of the RFT. His meteoric rise from obscurity has been amazing to watch over the last couple of years and so we sat down with Phil to discuss the past, present, & future of Merferd.
