The whole book of Revelation (or Apocalypse) is written in code. If you don’t understand the code, you won’t understand the book. Many people have made mistakes in writing about the book of Revelation because they don’t understand the code.
During a war, the military communicates in code. This book of Revelation was written to Christian being persecuted by the Roman government and was written in code. Only Christians that knew the Old Testament really well would understand the code. There are many things in Revelation that we find difficult to understand because we don’t need the code.
Rev. 15:2 says, “Then I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire. On the sea of glass were standing those who had won the victory over the beast and its image and the number that signified its name. They were holding the harps used in worshiping God.” If you won the victory it means that you were in some kind of struggle or conflict. Who was the victory over? The beast = a symbol of satan or the devil
What can we learn from this? The people in heaven have won a battle. Only those that have won the battle are there. We’re all in a battle whether we realize it or not. We’re either going to win the battle or lose the battle.
If we’re going to win over the beast we have to get ready for warfare. And the worst enemy is right here (ourselves). We can’t control our tongues. We can’t control our minds. We have to win this battle within ourselves.
