The number of people who are blind and visually impaired who are still unemployed and looking for a job is at 70-80%. Most people don’t really want to hire the blind and visually impaired mainly because they have zero knowledge on the benefits that they could provide as an employee and the fact that they could do the jobs that normal people could too.
I’m so excited to bring you Welby Broaddus in this week’s podcast where he will be sharing about his experience as someone with visual impairment who have been working for years. He will also be sharing about the book he wrote that is so dear to him, that he hope could help HR personnel, business owners, and people in the hiring field understand more about the blind and visually impaired.
