My social media has exploded since we purchased my dream property in Michigan. While there are a lot of supportive comments, there have also been a lot of negative comments about my use of the word “my”—my dream, my dream house, my dream property. Some feathers have been ruffled.

In today’s episode, I’m talking about the importance of following your dreams, not deferring them for others. Our society has an expectation that men are the breadwinners and that women defer their dreams for their husbands, their families. I’m encouraging you to prioritize your dreams and have the self-worth to follow them. You are valuable enough to have dreams of your own and see them through.
