Nicolas Gatien is a developer based in Ottawa, Canada. He learned to code by participating in game development competitions called “Game Jams.” Nicolas later grew fascinated with artificial intelligence, and explored the technicalities of neuro-evolution algorithms like NEAT. Eventually, he began developing smart assistants to help him with the background processes of his projects, so he can focus on the more active parts.

When he is not coding, he is either playing dungeons & dragons, taking notes and filling them in his analog zettelkasten, or going on survival trips to the woods.
