This is me speaking out on what it's really like to teach in North Carolina, aka, why everyone is leaving. I share the difference in the two high schools I taught at, give a financial break down of what it's like to get your residency licensure as a North Carolina lateral entry teacher, and break down the starting pay for most North Carolina teachers 2024. I had a plan to teach for the next few years, but that's definitely not happening in this state.
