Ted Gwartney is a long-time tax assessor for the Town of Greenwich, CT who is well-regarded in the Georgist community. Over his career Gwartney has also been the assessor for the cities of Bridgeport, CT; Hartford, CT; and Southfield, MI. He has also served as the Executive Director of the Robert Schalkenbach Foundation and worked as a land valuation consultant in Russia and the former Soviet Republics. On the show we discuss how land fees are vastly superior ways to collect revenue than taxation.
