Workshop

We will continue our character studies unit. The kids will start to grow ideas about characters and notice patterns with characters.

Writer’s

Workshop

We will continue our Baby Literary Essay Unit. The kids will write 2 more drafts about the book Each Kindness and we will try to study and add transitional phrases to help frame evidence.

Math

What happened to math class?

We will move on to our next unit: Division. We will study division as fair sharing/equal groups and we will go outside and practice division as jumps on a number line.

Social

Studies

We will look at the basic structure of the federal government.

Science

Our shipment is on hold so we will study the life cycle of plants. Later we will study the life cycle of animals and then compare their life cycles.
