After many years serving King Saul and his family, the commander of his army, Abner, decides that David is better suited to leading Israel than his nephew Ish-bosheth. This is a BIG DEAL, since Abner was responsible for leading the Israelite forces in hunting down David (now king of Judah). After years of bitterness and rivalry, David's foe has decided to switch sides. But will there be consequences? We shall see...
