It wasn't until after a listener requested an episode, on where to find an affordable, family friendly place to see snow, it finally dawned on us.
Monarch Mountain, Ski and Snowboarding - has a brand new snow tubing area available.

The resort is situated on Monarch Pass at the continental divide. It has 54 trails, two terrain parks, and an extreme terrain area called Mirkwood.
