As April 2025 merged into May, much has happened acrossChristendom. In this episode of the Christian Emergency Podcast, Andy examines some recent events that affected the Church.

First we look to Nigeria, where it was recently admittedthat an attack on Christians in a recent Easter parade was done intentionally. Contrary to early claims by police, who insisted the 18-wheel truck slammed into thebelievers because of a brake malfunction, an investigation revealed that this was in fact a brazen assault.

Also in Nigeria we discuss the recent killing of an indigenousmissionary named Peter Emmanuel. Peter was targeted because he helped a Christians convert who came to faith from a Muslim Background.

In Syria, we look at recent intimidation efforts targetingthe Valley of the Christians and other Christian villages. We also discuss a recent incident where Christian college students were assaulted because they were in the presence of a fellow student, who happened to be a female.

Finally, we wrap up with a look to the Sindh Province ofPakistan. A drought is wreaking havoc there, which is making life especially difficult for local Christian converts. There are many challenges in Pakistan, but we also glimpse the joy that still comes from following Christ through difficulties.
