Brexit, labour shortages and supply chain issues are recurring themes that have been in the headlines for many months, and to discuss these issues from a practical perspective John was joined by Lily Homes, Managing Director of PB Machine Tech Ltd.
"Twenty Questions" is our feature piece where we ask our guest twenty questions designed to give you an insight into the individual outside of their role in business. This month our guest was John Hurley, CEO of Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce.
Gavin Dixon, Founder and CEO of BITS the Kilkenny Based IT and Cyber Security specialists joined John to chat about growing the business with the recent announcement that they plan to recruit 20 new staff. Gavin also spoke to John about the changing working model with many organisations having a hybrid working model and how technology will support this.
During the week, John attended a briefing on the progress of the Abbey Quarter Development, a development in the heart of Kilkenny which is seeing investment in excess of €100 million. While there, John spoke with Colette Byrne Chief Executive of Kilkenny County Council and to Jason Clerkin, Chief Executive of the Abbey Quarter Development.
