This week we have Jinmi Abduls in the studio! It was an in person interview so Damini isn’t in this episode.
He talks about creating his first studio, Little Lagos in his mum’s boys quarters in 2016 (3:40)and how his mum encouraged him and his siblings to be as independent as possible (7:30)
He talks about how many years it took. He talks about how 2020/2021 was his worst year, or as he calls it, his year of reinvention (17:00). He also talks about how his relationship with God helped him get out of a dark place (22:00). He reads out some crazy dms he’s gotten (30:40) and the tweets he sees about himself (35:00).
