Grab a drink, kick back, and let’s talk about why the universe is basically a piece of fruit and why selling your old paintings might trigger someone’s past-life military trauma.

The Case of the Ottoman Warrior

The session kicks off with some domestic drama. Rob (Joseph) sold a portrait of a mysterious man in a turban to their friend Sonja. Seth pops in—stronger and louder than usual, ditching Jane’s glasses—to tell them that Sonja wasn’t just "into the aesthetic." Turns out, she was a warrior in the early Ottoman Empire.

Seth explains the vibe:

"No doubt here of jumbled relationships as far as the personality is concerned. We find here a personality once a warrior in the very early period of the Ottoman empire, and no coincidence that the personality is now involved with that country."

Basically, Sonja married a Turkish doctor and bought a painting of a Middle Eastern dude because her subconscious was screaming, "Hey, remember when we were a soldier in the desert?" Talk about a deep-seated connection to home decor.

Inwardness: The Real MVP

Seth gets deep into the "Inwardness" vs. "Outwardness" (Camouflage) debate. In short: matter is just the costume energy wears to the party.

• Rule #1: There is no "unindividualized" energy. Everything is aware of itself.
• Rule #2: Energy is never satisfied. It’s always looking for "more complicated gestalts."
• The Big Secret: The stuff you see (matter) is formed by the stuff you don't (inwardness). Studying the "outside" will never tell you what’s going on the "inside."

The Universal Fruit Theory

Seth drops a metaphor that is honestly a whole mood. He describes the relationship between our physical universe, the dream universe, and the universe of negative matter as "skins of a fruit."

"They represent skins, layers of skin, all belonging to the same fruit. Someone holding the fruit might be able to peel away the layers, but as for the fruit itself, the layers while making up the fruit are to all intents and purposes separate."

When humans try space travel, Seth basically laughs and says we’re just crawling around on the very outer skin of the apple. We aren't even getting to the juicy part yet because we haven’t figured out how to hop between the layers.

Artistic Roast: Jane vs. Rob

Seth takes a hilarious detour into Jane and Rob’s art.

• Rob (Joseph): Paints the "inwardness" through the finished object. He’s looking at the completion.
• Jane (Ruburt): Tries to catch the energy before it turns into matter. This is why her perspective is a mess—she’s looking from the inside out.

Seth calls it a partnership: Rob forms the inwardness, and Jane reaches out from the inside with her "hands full of inwardness." It’s poetic, it’s sweet, and it’s a great excuse for why Jane can't draw a straight line.

Psy-Time and Jack-in-the-Box Skulls

The session wraps up with Rob’s "Psychological Time" reports. He’s been seeing some wild stuff, including a "rather humorous" skull popping up like a jack-in-the-box and two guys ice fishing on a white mountain landscape. Seth’s prediction that Rob’s experiences would get more vivid is definitely hitting the mark.
