Having won the competition last year, Allen spoke about what it meant to him and his company. Closing date for Applications is Monday, 8th November.
The Design and Craft Sector is a sector which contributes €500 million annually to the Irish Economy and is also a sector that is of huge importance to the local economies of Carlow & Kilkenny. Made in Ireland a new exhibition was recently launched in National Design and Craft Gallery in Kilkenny and Rosemary Steen, Chief Executive of the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland along with Mary Gallagher, Owner of The Blue Egg Gallery spoke with John about the sector and the latest exhibition.
With less than a week to go to the Carlow Business Awards, John spoke with Brian O’Farrell, CEO of County Carlow Chamber of Commerce about the awards which are set to will take place simultaneously in Ballykealey House, The Lord Bagenal Inn and the Woodford Dolmen Hotel.
