Baseball and softball are sports that continue to attract new viewers both professionally and collegiately. This past weekend, I had the opportunity to talk to the VP of Bruce Bolt and the GM of the Atlanta Smoke (Professional Softball League-PSL), Eric Mays. Bruce Bolt recently sponsored a college, baseball classic (tournament) in Houston, TX at Daikin Park. With athletic gear that assists players on the field to perform at their best while also guiding professional softball, Eric Mays discusses how both of these are essential at leading our young people and the sport forward and how we can be prepared for what's to come regarding both equipment and play on the field.

The time is almost here...THE 2026 WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC! This is one of the most exciting times that baseball fans will experience, and I want to make sure that you are covered in knowing which teams will be playing in which pools, who is projected to win the pools and be runner-ups, and who will ultimately take home the title of the World Baseball Classic Champion. 2026 is set to be even more exciting than 2023, and I cannot wait to experience this moment with you. I also have some college softball and baseball updates because the seasons are starting off in ways that have already left fans breathless. Last year at the HBCU Classic, I had the pleasure of meeting two people who were happily cheering on their sons. I had a great conversation with them while also meeting their two sons, Paxton and Peyton, who played on opposing teams during the classic tournament. As they continue their collegiate journey as student-athletes, I had a discussion with both about their journey in college, what motivates/inspires them, and what they expect for the upcoming 2026 season. It's always special when we get to experience brothers play a sport that they love. It's even more special when they play competitively on opposite teams, ESPECIALLY in the sport of baseball. We are all familiar with College Baseball, Major League Baseball, the Winter Leagues, and even the upcoming World Baseball Classic. However, there are some people who take their baseball talents and play overseas. Troy Justice joins the 10th Inning to discuss how he learned about overseas ball, how he's adapted, and how others can join in on this incredible experience in different parts of the world. On Thursday, November 20th, history was officially made with the inaugural WPBL (Women's Professional Baseball League) Draft. The 2025 MLB season is officially over and a new World Series winner has been crowned.
