John 6:1-13
1. Be thankful for the testing of your faith because His power
follows.
Vs. 6 “But this He said to test him, for He himself knew what He
would do”
James 1:2-4
2. A discipleʼs life is most often obedience first and provision
second.
Vs. 10 “Make the people to sit down”

3. Jesus gives thanks for the undesirable areas of our lives.
Vs.11 “And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given
thanks”

4. His servants live in the shadow of His blessing.
Vs. 13 “Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve
baskets”
Ps 91:1-2
Jesus demonstrated to them the giving character of God - the
same character God desires to build within us. Proverbs 11:24
says, “There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there
is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty.”
This bread was multiplied as it was "scattered."
