 Franklin Roosevelt famously said, “We have nothing to fear but fear itself.” That’s sounds good, but it’s not true. There are a multitude of things that strike fear in our hearts. But we do not have to be dominated by any of them. Paul tells his young protégé Timothy that God has not given him – nor us – a spirit of fear, but He has given us everything we need to find freedom from fear.
