Black Girl Mentor

11. Black Food for Thought with Gerald Harris

Listen Later

On this week's episode and the 3rd edition of the Black Guy July series, I sat down with educator, social activist, and culture curator, Gerald Harris. Gerald, a native of Little Rock, AR,  is the Senior Director of Campus and Student Engagement for Duke Alumni Affairs at Duke University. He is also a son, brother, uncle, husband and co-creator of Tall Grass Food Box. During our talk, we discuss  higher education, Black culture, family, food, music, and most importantly, how mentorship shows up in all of those spaces.
