Gerald, a native of Little Rock, AR, is the Senior Director of Campus and Student Engagement for Duke Alumni Affairs at Duke University. He is also a son, brother, uncle, husband and co-creator of Tall Grass Food Box. During our talk, we discuss higher education, Black culture, family, food, music, and most importantly, how mentorship shows up in all of those spaces.
