Hey everyone! Episode 11 is live! On todays epsidode I got to interview Courtney Bilton. Courtney became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in February 2014. She lives near Toronto, Canada and completed her Master of Arts in Applied Disability Studies from Brock University (St. Catharines, Canada). Courtney first learned about ABA in 2008 when she was hired by a provincially funded autism services provider to deliver one-to-one intensive behavioural intervention to children diagnosed with ASD. She immediately fell in love with the field of ABA and has been delivering ABA-based services to children and youth with developmental disabilities ever since (with a 1-year break in 2009 to be a nanny in Belgium and travel Europe, and 12-month maternity leaves in 2017 and 2019 after having each of her kids). For the past 5 years, Courtney has supported students with ASD and their educators as the students transition from in-centre/in-home ABA services to full-time school.
