I like to think of my life's experiences as research. From that perspective, I immersed myself for the last 8 months in the study of formal hair education in Florida.

As a woman with textured hair, I wanted to pour the wisdom that I have amassed, into upcoming hairstylists. By the number of new students enrolling in schools, it is safe to say that the hair industry is still thriving.

Based on my experiences I was able to confirm things that I already knew and discovered new realities in hair education.

Season 2 of Hair Talk is a dedication to the time invested, the beautiful students I got to experience and the journey moving forward for Textured Hair Education.
