In this week's live lesson (We are live on Instagram every Wednesday at 9pm BRT! Tune in! www.instagram.com/fluentforreal), we talked about Causative Form, a very idiomatic structure that expresses favors and services the right way. In English, we need to be careful: don't say that you DID something, when in fact it was a service that you contracted. Ex: "I did my nails last week". And this affects the workplace, too! We are always transfering tasks, and if we inform it well, we don't sound rude or bossy.
Sorry for the quality of the video; the internet connection where we were was not the best! We promise to do better and better for you guys!
Check out the video! And soon, we'll post a complete lesson here on Youtube.
